为了进一步提高铜散热器的性能,增强它对铝散热器的竞争力,作 了许多改进。在材质方面,向铜中添加微量元素,以达到在不损失导热性的前 提下,提高其强度和软化点,从而减薄带材的厚度,节省用钢量;在制造工艺方面,采用高频或激光焊接铜管,并用钢钎焊代替易受铅污染的软焊组装散热 器芯体。这些努力的结果示于表6.2,与钎焊铝散热器相比,在相同的散热条件 下,即在相同的空气和冷却剂的压力降下,新型铜散热器的重量更轻,尺寸显 著缩小;再加上钢的耐蚀性好、使用寿命长,铜散热器的优势就更明显。此外,为了环保,大力推广和发展电动汽车,每辆汽车的用钢量将成倍增加。
铁路
铁路的电气化对铜和铜合金的需要量很大。每公里的架空导线需用2 吨以上的异型铜线。为了提高它的强度,往往加入少量的铜(约1%)或银 (约of%)。此外,列车上的电机、整流器、以及控制、制动、电气和信 号系统等都要依靠铜和铜合金来工作。
